We will be studying life in Anglo Saxon times during the Summer Term. This will cover both the history of their invasion, kingdoms, rulers, art and culture and also geography links to land use and farming.
In science, we will be continuing to learn about the similarities and differences in the life cycles of a mammal, an amphibian, an insect and a bird. We will be describing reproduction in some plants and animals, including humans. We will be exploring how humans change from young to old.
We will also be exploring the effects of air resistance, water resistance and friction, that act between moving surfaces, and identifying when forces are balanced and unbalanced and explain how this relates to the movement of objects..
In ICT the children will continue their work on blogging, as well as using ICT to produce art and beginning to look at how websites are developed.
During RE lessons, we will be learning about how Jesus would react in different situations. We will then move on to looking at how Christans and people of other faiths put their faith into practice to help others.
On Tuesdays, PE will be athletics and on Fridays it will be striking and fielding skills. Both sessions will be outdoors.
