PE days:

Tuesday and Thursday.

Children should come to school in their PE kits on these days. PE kits is: navy blue shorts/jogging bottoms and a white t-shirt.

Whatever the weather, children need to have a water bottle in all week to rehydrate during PE lessons and at other times.

As always, no jewellery please, except a small pair of studs for pierced ears which the children will need to be able to remove for PE lessons.  Please no nail varnish and tie hair back if below shoulder length.

Home learning:

Homework will be set each Friday and should be handed in by the following Wednesday.

Children will be given a spelling activity each Friday.

The children will be tested on their weekly spellings each Friday.

Children should continue to read on a daily basis, including sharing books together. Please ensure you child's planner is signed by an adult every time you hear them read. This will also be checked each Friday. As the Eynesbury Echo reminds us weekly, there are great benefits to be had from regular reading!

All children have a Mathletics login and should be completing weekly activities based on the current maths learning using this.

If you have any issues/ concerns about any aspect of the homework please do contact us.  You can write to us, email us or make a note in the children’s planner.
