School Council

This year, the school council is comprised of two children from each year group (1 - 6) along with the Junior Leadership Team. Each pupil in Years 1-5 are paired with a Year 6 buddy to support them in their role.

Our meetings take place once a month with Mr. Richardson.

Autumn Term Meetings/actions:

- Each member of the School Council is also an Eynesbury Pupil Ambassador. These children play an important role in helping to make our school a happy and caring place for everyone.

At break and lunch times, Pupil Ambassadors are there for anyone who might be feeling lonely, needs help finding friends, or wants someone to talk to. They can also help by guiding other pupils to the right adults if there’s a problem or by offering friendly advice if you’re unsure about something.

You can easily spot them around school — they wear blue reflective hi-vis vests, so you’ll always know who to go to if you need support or a friendly face.

- The School Council have been busy preparing this year’s Children in Need event! Pupils are encouraged to get involved by:
🧦 Taking part in our Sock Puppet Competition
👕 Coming to school in non-uniform for a small donation
🎯 Joining in a variety of fun games that the School Council have organised for everyone to enjoy — and maybe get a little competitive over!

It’s all for a fantastic cause, and we can’t wait to see everyone’s creativity and school spirit in action.

- In addition to the above, we are even trying to organise a film festival evening for Years Reception to 6. For a small price, children will be able to enjoy a Christmas movie with their friends after school with festive drinks and snacks!
